Your support makes all the difference.Tottenham saw their chance to move top of the Premier League go begging as they stumbled to a second successive draw in the 0-0 stalemate with Bournemouth, although the result did maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
Spurs have now gone nine matches without defeat in the top flight, although not for the first time this season they had goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to thank after his heroics before the break kept the match goalless.
Bournemouth’s threatening attack was spearheaded by Callum Wilson, but it was midfielder Harry Arter who proved the driving force behind Eddie Howe’s energetic side. Spurs meanwhile could have seen Erik Lamela sent-off in the first half as he was lucky to escape a second yellow card.
Arter also clashed with substitute Moussa Sissoko with what appeared to be a stray elbow, and the Bournemouth fans were incensed when referee Craig Pawson refused to award a penalty for what they believed to be a foul from Victor Wanyama on Jack Wilshere, the loanee completing his first 90–minute appearance in more than two years.
