Aston Villa finally broke their goal scoring duck but it wasn't enough as Chelsea managed to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to seven points.

When Eden Hazard swept Chelsea into a first half lead it looked as if it'd be another routine afternoon for the Blues - Villa hadn't scored since 20 December.

But after half-time the home side were reborn, upping the tempo and getting a deserved equaliser through Jores Okore. His goal ended a 10 hour 59 minute drought in front of goal and for a time Chelsea were frustrated.

Chelsea eventually responded, Branislav Ivanovic firing a beautifully-struck left-footed finish into the top corner.

With Manchester City only managing to draw at home, it was a great afternoon for the Jose Mourinho's team.
