Piers Morgan insists he would “get Mesut Ozil out as fast as possible” and claims there is “discontent” and “a lack of fight and passion” at Arsenal currently.
The German has been frozen out by Mikel Arteta, despite being the top earner at the Emirates Stadium on £350,000 per week.
Arsenal bounced back after defeat to Wolves on Thursday with a comfortable 4-1 victory over Rapid Wien, which saw fans return to the Emirates Stadium.
And Arsenal fan Morgan maintains not all is well under Arteta and that Ozil’s departure should be sorted as soon as possible.

“There’s something going on behind the scenes I think at Arsenal, whether it’s linked to Mesut Ozil and his situation with £350,000 per week going to a guy sitting on his Play Station, I don’t know,” Morgan said on Good Morning Britain.
“But it seems to be seeping into this team. A little bit of discontent, a lack of fight, a lack of passion.
“I agree with Arteta, why would you pick someone, who doesn’t give 100 per cent. But nobody would buy Ozil or pay those wages. That’s the bottom line.
“That’s why he’s still there, he can tweet a good game, and he can play a good game with the fans who are gullible enough to believe it, but I would get him out of there as fast as possible.
“I’d drive him to an airport to anywhere that will take him.”
Arteta is now intent on reviving Arsenal’s season, with the Gunners currently 14th in the Premier League table.
The Spaniard is determined to have a “clear out” in January to further shape his squad to his liking.
But first will come the north London derby on Sunday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Spurs top of the table currently under Jose Mourinho.
