In what was a lively North London derby, Kane took advantage of Laurent Kosicelny’s clumsy challenge on Mousa Dembele to punish Arsenal and cancel out Kevin Wimmer’s first half own goal.
Arsenal pushed for a winner that would’ve taken them to the top of the Premier League table and almost took the lead late on through substitute Olivier Giroud, but the Frenchman’s free header was directed straight at Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
However, the visitors held firm in the latter stages to preserve their unbeaten start to the season.
The point ensured that Spurs kept the gap between themselves and Arsenal to just three points and also maintained Mauricio Pochettino’s unbeaten record in the North London derby.
