Arsenal's turmoil deepened as Freddie Ljungberg's first game in charge ended in a 2-1 defeat by Brighton and Hove Albion.
Graham Potter's side, who were superior for the vast majority of the match, took a deserved lead when Adam Webster scythed past Bernd Leno.
Arsenal were jeered off at half time and Ljungberg's side responded almost immediately after the break as Alexandre Lacazette's glancing header squirmed into the top corner.
David Luiz thought the comeback was complete when he volleyed home Mesut Ozil's cross, only for the goal to subsequently be disallowed by VAR after the defender strayed offside.
However, as the game crept into its final 10 minutes, Neal Maupay turned home Aaron Mooy's cross to condemn Ljungberg to a miserable night. See our player ratings from the game below:
