Arsenal continue their pre-season preparations today with a friendly against German champions Bayern Munich in Shanghai.
There is of course history between the two sides, with Bayern having beaten Arsenal 5-1 the last three times they have played them.
Arsene Wenger will hope for a better result today and could decide to play new signing Alexandre Lacazette, who managed to score in last week’s friendly match against Sydney FC.
The match against Bayern represents a significant step-up in the difficulty of Aresenal’s pre-season after routine victories against Sydney and the Western Sydney Wanderers on their tour of Australia.
