Injury-prone star Sergio Aguero has returned to full training and could feature in the curical match at Arsenal on Monday night.

The striker, top scorer in the Premier League last season, has not completed 90 minutes for Manuel Pellegrini's side since 30 September, suffering a series of injury setbacks.

Aguero has nine goals in 14 matches this season, but five of those came in the thrashing of Newcastle United on 3 October.

Since that game Aguero has played in just three of City's 14 matches, failing to play more than 70 minutes in any of them; he has also missed each of City's last four games with a heel problem.

The club head to the Emirates just a point behind second-placed Arsenal.

However, Manuel Pellegrini remains without captain Vincent Kompany, who still has a calf problem.

The Belgian has played in only 11 of 25 matches for the club this season, although they have only lost one match in which he has played - the 2-1 home defeat to Juventus.
