The Italian manager has been linked with a departure from Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, and is understood to have a strained relationship with the club’s hierarchy over transfer policy.
However Conte says he is happy and wants to continue making progress at Chelsea.
“Now I am fully committed for Chelsea, in this job to work with my players to try also to improve the club in the football aspect,” Conte said.
“I am fully committed in this and I am happy in what I am doing now and what I did in the past. But I am more happy in what I am doing now.”
Speaking before the visit of Leicester City on Saturday, Conte was pressed on whether he is searching for a striker to add competition for Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuayi.
“I think there is competition but at the same time don’t forget you are talking about two young players and for Morata this is the first full season for him, and he is learning a lot from this experience. Learning to deal with these type of situations and if we speak about Michy we are at the same level.
“He has only one season he played regularly for Marseille. We are talking about young players. Me and the club know very well this situation and for this reason we must have patience to understand there is a process and we are ready to face this process.”
Asked for his thoughts on Leicester’s Jamie Vardy, Conte said: “For sure Vardy is a really good player and I don’t like to speak about players of other teams but in this case we are not talking about transfer market.
“I appreciate a lot this player because he is a really good player, Vardy. He played for the national team and is scoring with regularity in this league and is a good player but I am talking about him because you ask me, and not the transfer market.”
