Gilette's latest commercial has the two sporting superstars try their hand at various sports, but surely they could have actually attempted them rather than use a CGI version

Have you ever wondered how Roger Federer would get on at trying his hand at sumo wrestling? Or how Lionel Messi would cope on the hallowed turf at Twickenham? Well wonder no more as the two global superstars have swapped their regular jobs on the court and pitch respectively for a rather different environment.

Well, they haven’t really, but they’ve been given the image of it in the latest Gilette razor commercial that has the two swapping sports depending on which country’s shaver they choose.

We’re not too sure whether using the computer generated images are the best use of Federer and Messi, but the clip is a laugh nonetheless. Perhaps if they’d actually sent Messi in to the crease for the Indian cricket team or thrown the Swiss in to the sumo circle, things would’ve got a bit more interesting.
