From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Jimmy Bullard has revealed that he once urinated in a team-mates after shave bottle - and he still doesn't know about it.

The former Wigan, Fulham and Hull midfielder was asked on his new TV show, Jimmy Bullard Kicks Off, to remember his best ever prank. he didn't disappoint.

"I don't know whether I can say this... I'll take a risk," a clearly giddy Bullard, who was also celebrating his birthday, said on Friday night's show.

"I had a wee-wee in an aftershave bottle once... he used it all year!"

The show's co-host Kiri Bloore responded: "Can we find out who it was?"

"He still doesn't know... but he stinks."

Bullard also went on a pretty epic rant about Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, Cristiano Ronaldo and even Uber.

Jimmy Bullard Kicks Off airs Monday and Fridays at 7pm on London Live - Freeview 8, YouView 8, Sky 117 and Virgin 159
