Spanish newspaper AS have published a photo of the package reportedly containing the Welsh winger's new boots that has arrived at Real Madrid's training complex in Valdebebas.
The parcel, sent from Adidas headquarters in Germany, is said to contain the boots that Bale will wear at his imminent unveiling - the stage for which was built last week.
After a week that has seen the Tottenham man skip training while his club have added a host of new players to the squad, it seems that the most talked about transfer of the summer cannot be far away.
It remains to be seen what the exact fee for Bale will be, although many expect it to top the current world record, the £80m Real Madrid already paid for Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo.
