Laurent Koscielny became the latest Arsenal player to be struck down by injury today, after he was sent home from the France set-up with an Achilles problem.

Only yesterday, Mesut Ozil, was diagnosed with damaged knee ligaments by the German national team medics. He is expected to be out for three months..

According to the DFB, the 25-year-old arrived with the complaint in his left knee.

With Ozil now sidelined, the Gunners now have nine first-team players out of action, including Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud.

After the international week the Gunners take on Hull City at home on Saturday 18 October.
