About the only cheer for Blackburn fans during last night's defeat to Wigan was the sight of a chicken roaming around the pitch.
The animal was released onto the pitch during the match which sealed Rovers relegation to the Championship, apparently in protest at the owners at Ewood Park, poultry meat producers Venky's.
