This year sees Manchester City try to defend their crown and claim a historic fourth title in succession. Meanwhile Luton Town are making their first appearance in the Premier League, having risen from non-league in an incredible decade of progress. They followed Championship winners Burnley and second-placed Sheffield United in earning promotion to the top flight.

Tottenham are pushing to get back into this one as Son bursts into the box, but the Liverpool defenders get back well to make the challenge and it falls to Alisson. The two goals for Postecoglou's side have given them a huge boost in the final stages of the game!

Johnson stayed composed on the right-hand side, with his low cross right into the path of Richarlison.

Tottenham have shown a slight improvement in the second half when it comes to creating chances, producing five shots with two of those being on target. Liverpool have been the more clinical and have punished Spurs since the break, with Postecoglou's side struggling at the back.

Spurs have a free-kick in a dangerous position after a foul from Mac Allister, and Maddison is standing over it. It might be a little too far out to shoot so he delivers to the back post where Son collects. He finds Sarr who crosses into the box, but Johnson fails to connect with it and it goes behind for a goal-kick.

Maddison plays a throughball to Richarlison who has burst beyond the Liverpool defence, and the flag stays down. He has Son to his left supporting him and he squares it across the box, but Alisson rushes out to close the angle and saves. The assistant eventually raises his flag and it's offside.
