Goncalo Guedes scored the only goal of the game as Portugal beat Holland to be crowned the first-ever Nations League champions.

The final in Porto was not a game for the ages as a match billed as a battle between the two captains, Cristiano Ronaldo and Virgil Van Dijk, was settled by Valencia forward Guedes on the hour mark.

The 1-0 win was enough for the reigning European champions to add the inaugural Nations League crown to their honours list with victory in front of their own fans. Re-live the action below:

3 mins: Cheeky from Harry Kane. Pickford sends a ball forward to him and he brings it down before giving it to Lingard. Kane follows up with a run to the right of the box and Lingard finds him with a return pass. Sommer is slightly off his line and Kane goes for the chip and hits the crossbar!

Alexander-Arnold gives the ball to Dele Alli who runs it into the box, he's tackled but luckily the ball comes to Kane, who slips it past the defence to Sterling in the left side of the box. Sterling side foots a weak shot and Sommer saves it. Another great chance for England to go in front!

18 mins: Schar and Delph dive in to contest a ball and Delph is the one penalised for it. Schar stays down a while before limping off the pitch in a showcase of his amazing acting. The whistle goes and he sprints back on into position as Switzerland send the free kick forward with a long ball that England deal with.
