Behind 3-0 after the first leg, Origi had given Liverpool a look back into the tie when he tapped in after just seven minutes on the rebound from Jordan Henderson’s shot.
Georginio Wijnaldum then scored twice in two minutes in the second half to put the tie back on level terms and leave Barcelona reeling.
But then it was Origi who turned hero again after a brilliant piece of trickery from Trent Alexander-Arnold.
As Barcelona switched off ahead of the corner, Alexander-Arnold drilled a low ball to the feet of the striker on the edge of the six-yard box, who then finished brilliantly first-time into the top corner to give Liverpool a 4-3 lead on aggregate. Watch the goal below:
