Liverpool host Southampton at Anfield this afternoon and the question now seems to be when and how they win the Premier League title, rather than if.
With 70 points gathered already, the Reds are on the verge of clinching their first Premier League title for 30 years and there is a real possibility of going the whole season unbeaten, as well as reaching the highest points tally in the league's history.
Southampton are having a fine season, currently sitting in ninth, and the Saints can treat this one as a free hit with the chance to cause a shock. Follow it live:

39 mins: Romeu flicks the heels of Oxlade-Chamberlain and brings down the Liverpool man about 20-yards from goal. Salah and Alexander-Arnold stand over the ball. It's positioned just to the left of goal leaving an angle for either to shoot.
Alexander-Arnold takes the shot but hits the wall and wins a corner. He then takes the corner and delivers it to the near post but Southampton win the header and cut out the danger.

42 mins: Bertrand plays the ball beautifully up to Shane Long. He runs the ball into the box and tries to square it to Danny Ings. van Dijk intercepts but the ball comes back to Long. Long shoots but Alisson makes the save.
Hojbjerg has another chance for Southampton, he attacks the box from the right and shoots aiming for the near post but Alisson has that side covered as well.

45 mins: Southampton get in again as Firmino's back pass is loose. Ings takes hold of the ball, runs it a couple of feet into the box and shoots but it hits Long and bounces away. The ball falls to Redmond who takes a shot of his own and spoons it over the goal.

45+1 mins: Southampton end the half stongly with back-to-back corners but they are unable to convert any of them and they go into the break on level terms with Liverpool.
Liverpool started the game in impressive fashion. They dominated possession and caused Southampton trouble with long passes but the Saints defended well.
In the final ten minutes of the half, things started to change with Southampton opening up more space out wide and taking advantage of some poor play from the league leaders.
The visitors created some big chances but were unable to take them. Nonetheless they'll be happy with the work they've put in in the first half.
Liverpool have work to do if they want to get something out of this game. Southampton will just want more of the same with better finishes when they're in front of goal.

47 mins: GOAL! Southampton feel they should have had a penalty at the other end of the pitch as Fabinho takes down Ings. It's not given and Liverpool break quickly. Robertson is forward on the overlap and he gives the ball to Firmino. Firmino passes it to Oxlade-Chamberlain. He takes a touch and drills one into the back of the net. Liverpool lead at Anfield!

51 mins: Heartbreak fro Southampton who, up until that goal, were right in this game. It's made an already difficult task that much harder now.

54 mins: They need to do better. Shane Long is sent forward with a long ball and he gets to the pass first. van Dijk comes to block him off from goal but Djenepo runs forward to give him a hand. Long passes the ball to him but it's slow with no intent and Robertson is able to nip in and intercept the pass.
