Liverpool host Southampton at Anfield this afternoon and the question now seems to be when and how they win the Premier League title, rather than if.

With 70 points gathered already, the Reds are on the verge of clinching their first Premier League title for 30 years and there is a real possibility of going the whole season unbeaten, as well as reaching the highest points tally in the league's history.

Southampton are having a fine season, currently sitting in ninth, and the Saints can treat this one as a free hit with the chance to cause a shock. Follow it live:

Liverpool 4 - 0 Southampton - Salah

90 mins: GOAL! A brace for Mo Salah. Boufal loses the ball and Liverpool break on the counter attack. Salah plays a perfectly weighted pass into the box for Firmino. Liverpool 4 - 0 Southampton

90+4 mins: Southampton have been blown away in the second half. It was always a possibility after the second goal went in. The Saints kept looking for a goal of their own and they've been hit twice by counterattacking runs. There's no shame there. Liverpool saw their chances and took them. Their march towards a first league title in 30 years goes on.

Liverpool move 22 points clear of Man City in the Premier League table. They're on track for over 100 points in this campaign as well as an undefeated season. Incredible.

Up next we have the final Premier League match of the day and it's a big one. Man Utd host Wolves at Old Trafford with the winner guaranteed fifth spot in the league.

Manchester United's key January signing Bruno Fernandes starts at Old Trafford this evening. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had this to say about the midfielder:

"We've followed him for years but he has grown gradually during that period as well. More and more mature, more and more assured performances.

"He's a great leader of his team and, even with all the speculation that has been around him - probably every club in Europe linked with him, he's stayed focused and played some fantastic football for Sporting.

"It tells everything how professional he is and when you get to see him and meet him he's a fantastic human being."

No sign of course of United's other signing who was signed on loan on deadline day. But will Odion Ighalo answer United's problems:

Wolves have been a bit of a bogey team for Man Utd in recent times including last time out in the Premier League when they came from behind to clinch a draw. But Man Utd saw them off 1-0 in the FA Cup a couple of weeks ago so they'll go into the game confident thaty can do the same again.
