Welcome to The Independent's live coverage of today's Euro 2016 qualifier between England and Slovenia at Wembley.

Roy Hodgson's men will be looking to extend their unbeaten run at the top of Group E, while Three Lions captain Wayne Rooney will lead the team out to win his 100th cap for his country.

Kieran Gibbs will start at left-back, with Luke Shaw named in the 26-man squad but cut when it went down to 23. The match will mark Gibbs' fourth appearance for the Three Lions.

There will be a strong Arsenal contingent in the side, with Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck expected to start, but Nathaniel Clyne beat Calum Chambers to the right-back berth to make his England debut.
