Arsenal arrived in Naples defending a 2-0 lead from the first leg, knowing that an away goal would put them on the verge of the last four.
And, after a relatively close opening period, Lacazette drilled home a wonderful shot to calm Arsenal’s nerves.
The Frenchman was upended by Piotr Zieliński on the edge of the box and immediately indicated that he wanted to take the set-piece himself. He then whipped a powerful shot around the wall and into the top corner of the goal.
