Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal was criticised when he let young striker James Wilson join Brighton & Hove Albion on a loan deal.

With United lacking strikers, many fans would have liked to have seen the Dutchman give the quick Wilson, 20, a chance at Old Trafford.

Since moving to the South Coast, Wilson hasn't done a huge amount to prove that Van Gaal was wrong.

He has only two goals in eight matches and although Chris Hughton's team were top at the start of December, they have now gone winless in their last five matches to slip to fourth in the table, five points behind Middlesborough.

The Seagulls face 11th placed Wolves at the Amex Stadium today and Wilson was in the starting line-up.

During the coverage of the match, televised on Sky Sports, the pundits were looking at Wilson to have an impact in the game.

The cameras panned to him... and he vomited.
