We've had our fair share of Zlatan Ibrahimovic disappointments in recent weeks.

Unfortunately for football fans in England, the agent of the Swedish striker denied that he would be moving to either Liverpool or Arsenal this summer, denying us of the chance to see the big man in regular action.

A couple of weeks ago the ghostwriter of his brilliant autobiography, I Am Zlatan, revealed that the book was almost entirely made up and was written as a novel.

Fortunately, the striker returned to a bit of form at the weekend during Sweden training.

The 6ft 4in Ibra was clearly uncomfortable in some tight fitting trousers when on national team duty on Sunday afternoon.

But rather than just change into a pair of shorts - like any normal person - he did the only thing that Zlatan would do... get the scissors out.

Enlisting the help of the kit man, Ibra cut through the trousers to fashion a pair of shorts.

And why not.
