Wales have opened talks with Costa Rica with a view to staging a memorial match for their late manager Gary Speed, who died aged 42 last month.
The FA of Wales is planning to pay tribute to Speed, who won the first of his 85 caps against Costa Rica in a Cardiff friendly in 1990, during the friendly international scheduled for 29 February. Costa Rica, 65th in Fifa's world rankings, drew 2-2 with Spain last month.
