Large sections of the Russian support appeared to charge into the England contingent after full-time in their European Championship fixture, clambering over the segregation point and forcing the English to flee the Stade Veldrome.
Hart, who had just suffered on-field frustration after Vasili Berezutski’s stoppage time equaliser, seems to tell England fans to “be stay” before pleading with them not to leave the stadium.
The incident follows a week of bubbling violence between the two sets of supporters with Russian fans alleged to have attacked English punters at nearby bars and restaurants before kick-off in southern France.
On the pitch, Eric Dier looked to have done enough to guide England to a 1-0 victory with his sweetly struck free-kick but Russia defender Berezutsky's stoppage-time header denied them all three points from their Group B opener.
