Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater makes his debut for England tonight in the international friendly against the Netherlands at Wembley Stadium.

Drinkwater, 26, has been in fine form for the Premier League leaders this season.

His team-mate, Jamie Vardy, also starts for The Three Lions against the Netherlands.

Drinkwater comes in for his first cap while stand-in captain James Milner was joined by Liverpool team-mate Daniel Sturridge, who returned to international football after over a year and a half away through injury.

Fraser Forster started in goal at Wembley, while Kyle Walker, John Stones, Ross Barkley and Jamie Vardy were also named in Hodgson's starting line-up, three days after England won 3-2 against Germany in Berlin.

In total, Roy Hodgson has made eight changes in from the side that came back to defeat Germany 3-2 on Saturday night.

England: Forster, Walker, Smalling, Stones, Rose, Milner, Drinkwater, Vardy, Barkley, Lallana, Sturridge. Subs: Clyne, Heaton, Walcott, Cahill, Jagielka, Henderson, Dier, Kane, Alli,
