Filippo, who plays for Juventus, and younger brother Simone, the Lazio player, are named in the 21-man squad by coach Giovanni Trapattoni.
Others included are Francesco Totti, Marco Delvecchio and Alessandro del Piero.
Atalanta midfielder Damiano Zenoni is the surprise name in the squad. The 23-year-old midfielder has been rewarded for his part in newly-promoted Atalanta's superb start to the Serie A season, which sees them lie third after five games.
Zenoni, whose twin brother Cristian plays in the Atalanta defence, had never played in Serie A before this season.
Christian Vieri, who has returned to action with two substitute appearances for Inter Milan in the past week, was not considered fit enough.
