Thiago Silva returns to the Brazil starting line-up following his suspension for the host nation's humiliating 7-1 semi-final defeat to Germany.

He will partner David Luiz, who despite his shocking performance in the last game, retains his place.

Fred however isn't lucky enough to keep his place in the side and has been replaced with Jo by Luiz Felipe Scolari.

The Netherlands' have selected a strong side that includes Arjen Robben and Robin van Persie in attack.
