Fulham’s scoring woes continued as their missed opportunities saw them held to a goalless Premier League draw with Everton at Craven Cottage.

After last week’s exit from both the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup, the west Londoners failed to bounce back with a win over an Everton side, who now sit in the bottom three following Luton’s 4-0 victory over Brighton.

Raul Jimenez, who scored four goals in December, could not replicate last month’s success before Rodrigo Muniz was largely anonymous when called upon in the second half.

Harrison finds the run of Calvert-Lewin in behind the Fulham defence and it looks like he's through on goal. He tries to cut it back to a team-mate and it falls to Mykolenko on the edge of the penalty area, but his shot is deflected away from danger. Eventually, the assistant referee raises his flag. Calvert-Lewin was offside originally.

Robinson is in space on the left-hand side and he sends a whipped delivery towards the back post. Pereira flings himself at it, but he doesn't connect well with the shot and the ball trickles behind for a goal-kick to Everton. Robinson was in way too much room on the left, with the Toffees playing incredibly narrow.

The Toffees are turning the screw! A Garner pass finds Young in space on the right-hand side, and he wastes no time delivering into the penalty area. Calvert-Lewin is stretching and attempts to divert a header towards goal, but it loops over the bar and lands on the roof of the net. Everton are pushing to find an opener.

Everton go long from a free-kick and Tarkowski rises highest at the back post. His header falls to Godfrey who strikes it from inside the penalty area, but it's deflected behind for a corner. Garner takes the set-piece and it finds Calvert-Lewin at the back post... but his header hits the bar! So close!

McNeil gets away with one! Everton look to play out from the back, but McNeil's sloppy pass is intercepted. It falls to Muniz who is through on goal, but his effort is saved by Pickford. The assistant referee has his flag, so it wouldn't have counted anyway and Everton have a free-kick.

A dangerous delivery into the box from Castagne causes problems for the Toffees, but Godfrey does superbly to divert the ball behind for a corner with his head. Willian is there to take for Fulham and they go short. It eventually comes to Cairney who crosses into the box, but it's headed away again. De Cordova-Reid tries an effort from range, but Pickford can comfortably gather.

The Everton fans are appealing for a penalty! Danjuma breaks down the left-hand side and fires a cross into the box. Harrison takes the ball on the turn and goes down under the challenge of Tosin, but the referee waves play on. It would have certainly been soft, and VAR have opted not to recommend a review for the on-field referee.

Everton have managed seven shots so far to Fulham's five, creating 0.73 expected goals (xG). The home team have dominated the possession, however, managing to have the ball 70.4 per cent of the game. The two teams have produced a shot on target a piece, so Silva and Dyche will be desperate to see their respective sides test the opposition goalkeepers more often. Both the Cottagers and the Toffees have attacking options on the bench - could we see Beto, Vinicius, or Muniz early in the second half?
