Leeds United have completed the signing of Aston Villa midfielder Barry Bannan on loan until the end of the season. The 21-year-old Scotland international will go straight into Simon Grayson's squad for tonight's league meeting with Preston at Deepdale.

"He's used to this division and played a major part in Blackpool's run to get promoted last season," Grayson said of his new acquisition. "So he has experience and he fits the bill perfectly for us."
