Manchester United and Arsenal contest the last FA Cup quarter-final of the weekend this evening with the winner not having to wait long to discover who they will play in the next round.

The draw for the semi-finals will be made immediately after tonight's match at Old Trafford and will be broadcast live on BBC1 and revealed here on The Independent website.

Prior to the game between Manchester United and Arsenal, the only team that managed to guarantee a place at Wembley was Aston Villa. Tim Sherwood's side beat local rivals West Brom 2-0 to advance.

Meanwhile the games between Liverpool and Blackburn Rovers and Bradford City and Reading ended goalless, meaning they will be replayed.

Semi-final draw numbers...

1 Liverpool or Blackburn Rovers

2 Bradford City or Reading

3 Manchester United or Arsenal

4 Aston Villa

The semi-final ties will be played on 18 and 19 April 2015 at Wembley Stadium.
