Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has made three changes to the team beaten by FC Midtyjlland, naming a strong team to face League One Shrewsbury Town.
David De Gea and Wayne Rooney are among a number of players currently sidelined, but the Dutchman has picked arguably his strongest available team as the club chase a first trophy since Sir Alex Ferguson retired.
Three changes have been made to the team that lost in Denmark, with Guillermo Varela coming in for Donald Love and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson in for Paddy McNair in defence.
Morgan Schneiderlin comes in for Michael Carrick in midfield, while Chris Smalling will captain the team.
