Your support makes all the difference.David Bernstein, the Football Association chairman, is to hold talks with the Premier League in an effort to return the FA Cup final to its showpiece slot.
On the day American drinks giant Budweiser were unveiled as the competition's new main sponsor for three years at Wembley – which has been selected as the venue for the 2013 Champions League final – Bernstein said he hoped to avoid a repeat of last season when Manchester City won the Cup on the day Manchester United clinched the title.
Next year's final could again clash with the Premier League. Bernstein said: "It is an aspiration to get the Cup final back as a day on its own. We are working towards that."
