The Premier League giants are the form team in England’s top tier, being unbeaten in 11 games, while Blackburn are struggling and languishing down in 13th place in the Championship. However, with Blackburn almost certain of staying mid table, they might through caution to the wind and go for the win, as squad rotation won’t even come into their minds.
Saying that, an in-form Liverpool, despite possibly looking to rotate their squad after Wednesday night’s comfortable win against Burnley, should have enough to win, but the complacency shown back in 2000 could always come back to haunt the favourites.
