Danny Cowley and his Lincoln team will aim to "achieve the impossible" again when they take on Burnley this weekend but the Imps boss believes their FA Cup run - whenever it ends - will stand the club in good stead for the future.

Cowley has guided National League leaders Lincoln to the fifth round for the first time in 130 years and at Turf Moor on Saturday they will attempt to become the first non-league side to reach the quarter-finals since the competition's current format was instigated in 1925.

Lincoln City have no fresh injury problems but Lee Beevers remains out with a long-term knee injury.

Burnley are without Robbie Brady and Jeff Hendrick for their FA Cup fifth round clash against National League leaders Lincoln.

Brady is cup-tied having played for Norwich earlier in the competition, while Hendrick serves the second match of a three-game suspension.

Steven Defour (hamstring) is still out and Johann Berg Gudmundsson is fit to return, while the likes of Jon Flanagan, James Tarkowski, Tendayi Darikwa, Scott Arfield and Sam Vokes can all expect recalls.

12 mins: It's a strong Burnley side named by Sean Dyche but he has made three changes to his back four and, at the moment, it shows. Further hesitation and miscommunication between James Tarkowski and Heaton gives Arnold a sniff, but the Premier League side manage to scramble the danger away.

17 mins: Another reminder for a Burnley midfielder that they are in for a battle this afternoon. A hefty challenge from Alan Power on Johann Berg Gudmundsson has the Iceland international in need of treatment.

20 mins: In fact, Gudmundsson has been unable to shake off that tackle, and having gone to ground again, he will be unable to play any further apart. His readymade replacement is George Boyd, a man who knows all about non-league football having starred for Stevenage Borough back in the early 2000s.

22 mins: Keeping things tight at the back and then hitting their opponents with a set-piece may be their best chance of victory this afternoon. Burnley's best chance, that is. Michael Keane nearly does just that, getting his head on a left-wing corner, but his effort is wide of Paul Farman's goal.

27 mins: Farman makes his first save of the game. Andre Gray was on the move after Scott Arfield flicked a ball forward over the visiting defence, but the Burnley striker's first-time volley in the ground bounced kindly in the body of the Lincoln number one.

30 mins: Half an hour gone at Turf Moor and Lincoln manager Danny Cowley will be delighted with how his team have gone about their business so far. The non-league side have been combative without resorting to spoiling tactics, have restricted their Premier League opponents to minimal opportunities and have created the best chance of the game themselves.

39 mins: Barton nearly gains his revenge with a wonderfully crisp volley from the edge of the Lincoln penalty area. The Burnley midfielder's technique was perfect as he met a header out of defence, but the strike was straight at Farman. Five yards either side of the goalkeeper and surely the hosts would have been in front.

It is indicative of a what has been a solid first half display from the visitors and they will deserve to go in on level terms with their Premier League opponents at the break.
