Chelsea vs Liverpool in the fifth round of the FA Cup will be shown live on BBC One on Tuesday 3 March at 19:45, it has been announced.

Manchester United‘s tie with Derby County will be played on Thursday 5 March at 19:45 on BT Sport.

While Manchester City‘s game at Sheffield Wednesday has also been selected by the BBC for Wednesday 4 March at 19:45.

League One side Portsmouth, the lowest ranked side left in the competition, will host Arsenal on Monday 2 March at 19:45.

This season’s fifth round ties will be played midweek, while all eight ties must be concluded on the night.

Therefore, if the ties are level after 90 minutes, extra-time and penalties will decide who progresses.

Highlights of the round will also be shown after Chelsea vs Liverpool.
