The semi-final draw of the Carabao Cup will take place on Wednesday night as the competition advances into its latter stages, with four of the Premier League’s ‘top six’ remaining.

Arsenal booked their place in the semi-finals by beating West Ham 1-0 and Manchester City are also through, although they needed penalties to see off Leicester.

Chelsea face Bournemouth on Wednesday night. Bristol City are the only non-Premier League team left in the competition, having drawn Manchester United they will be hoping to face a weakened side on Wednesday ahead of a congested festive period for Mourinho’s side.

Carabao will aim to ensure a smooth semi-final draw after a two hour delay in the quarter final draw led to an EFL apology and frustration amongst supporters.
