Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has named a strong line-up, including Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen, for the FA Cup trip to Colchester United.

The Argentine makes seven changes from the side which emerged as victors at Crystal Palace in the Premier League last weekend with Kevin Wimmer deputising for the injured Jan Vertonghen.

Son Heung-min, who scored against Leicester City to secure safe passage from the third round, is on the bench as Spurs name Kane up front for the trip to Essex.

Nabil Bentaleb, another star performer in recent weeks, is given a chance to shine from the start alongside Tom Carroll in the centre of midfield.

Former Burnley striker Marvin Sordell starts up front for the hosts, meanwhile, as Colchester hand starts to Darren Ambrose and 19-year-old Kane Vincent-Young.

United are bottom of the third tier table, seven points adrift of 20th-placed Shrewsbury, and so today represents a chance to unburden themselves from their league woes.

Today's line-ups...

Colchester United: Kean, Brindley, Wynter, Eastman, Vincent-Young, Massey, Gilbey, Garvan, Ambrose, Moncur, Sordell.

Subs: Parish, Edwards, Lee, Bonne, Sordell, Kent, Briggs.

Tottenham Hotspur: Vorm, Trippier, Dier, Wimmer, Davies, Bentaleb, Carroll, Lamela, Eriksen, Chadli, Kane.

Subs: Lloris, Alderweireld, Walker, Alli, Dembele, Onomah, Son.
