Arsenal made seven changes for the FA Cup fifth-round visit of Liverpool, with Yaya Sanogo making his first start for the Gunners.

Only Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny, Mikel Arteta and Mesut Ozil were retained from the XI which began the draw with Manchester United as the Gunners sought to avenge last weekend's 5-1 Premier League loss at Anfield.

Liverpool made three changes from the side which began the midweek win at Fulham, with goalkeeper Brad Jones, defender Daniel Agger and midfielder Joe Allen in for Simon Mignolet, Kolo Toure and Jordan Henderson.

Arsenal:
Fabianski, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Flamini, Arteta, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ozil, Podolski, Sanogo.

Subs: Sagna, Wilshere, Giroud, Viviano, Cazorla, Gibbs, Gnabry.

Liverpool: Brad Jones, Flanagan, Agger, Skrtel, Cissokho, Coutinho, Gerrard, Allen, Sterling, Suarez, Sturridge.

Subs: Toure, Aspas, Moses, Henderson, Mignolet, Kelly, Teixeira.

Referee: Howard Webb (S Yorkshire)
