Luton take a 2-1 lead over Everton into half-time. It was the hosts with all of the early chances, but they struggled to test Kaminski. Luton took the lead through Lockyer - Doughty's corner was thumped against the underside of the bar by Morris, and the Hatters captain threw himself in front of Young's clearance to send it into the goal. Morris then doubled their lead from another set-piece, peeling away to send an unmarked volley past Pickford. At the other end, Garner smacked the bar with a header before Calvert-Lewin prodded home Everton's first home goal of the season to pull one back.
