The Barcelona squad returned to Catalonia to a raucous reception from their supporters as they travelled through the streets of Barcelona in an open-top bus parade, showing off the three trophies that they have won this season which culminated in Saturday’s 3-1 triumph over Juventus in Berlin.
But Xavi farewell to the Barcelona faithful threatened to turn sour when he was spotted having an angry exchange with his team-mate Neymar. The 23-year-old forward appeared to be messing around near Xavi’s feet when the Spanish midfield maestro suddenly lashed out and pushed Neymar away with a palm to the face.
Ivan Rakitic appeared to try and pull Xavi down from the edge of the bus, while Javier Mascherano can also be seen to meddling near his feet.

At this point in time it’s worth pointing out that Xavi was standing on the edge of the top deck of the double-decker bus, and Neymar may have just been looking out for his friend in case the worst should happen. Alternatively – and we prefer this explanation – Neymar may have been tying Xavi’s laces together.
Either way, Qatar-bound Xavi was far from impressed, and after pushing Neymar away he had some choice words for the Brazil superstar before wagging his finger in his direction. All in all, it was a case of handbags.
