West Ham Europa League draw: Hammers to begin European campaign against Andorra runners-up FC Lusitanos

West Ham enter the Europa League in the first qualifying round after winning Uefa's Fair Play League

West Ham will face Andorra's FC Lusitanos in the first qualifying round for the Europa League.

The Hammers finished top of Uefa's Fair Play league table in 2014/15, meaning they get an entry to the second-tier European tournament at the very first stage despite finishing 12th in the Premier League.

Liverpool, Tottenham and Southampton will all join them in the competition at a later stage providing West Ham can negotiate the qualification stages, with the squad returning for pre-season training today, some way ahead of schedule had they not qualified for the Europa League.

The players return from their short holiday to find a new manager in charge, with former Croatia and Besiktas head coach Slven Bilic now in charge for the club's final season at Upton park before they relocate to the Olympic Stadium for next season.

102 teams go into the first qualifying round for the 2015/16 Europa League, with the final set to be held at St Jakob-Park in Basle, Switzerland, on 18 May 2016.

Hammers fans face a long-distance trip if they wish to drive to the away leg of the tie, with Lusitanos's Camp d'Esports d'Aixovall 820 miles away from Upton Park.
