Tottenham Hotspur’s turbulent group stage in the Champions League (W2, D2, L2) left them needing a result against Barcelona at the Nou Camp. Thanks to a late goal from Lucas Moura, a draw was enough to see them progress when Inter Milan drew to bottom side PSV Eindhoven.

Through on head-to-head results, Spurs showcased the kind of grit and luck that had evaded them in European competition up until that point.

Their efforts secured a place in the last-16 where they face an in-form Borussia Dortmund side that has gone from strength to strength this season, with the likes of Jadon Sancho notably catching the eye for the Germans.
