The right-back scored a fabulous third as Spurs came from behind to beat the Greek side 4-2.
Video footage appeared to show the Ivorian spitting towards fans while celebrating the goal, but Aurier denied claims he spat at supporters.
“Little personal message to correct a controversy!” Aurier wrote on Instagram.
“I will never spit on animals, let alone humans, let alone fans of this club that gives me the opportunity to express myself and do my job.
“Let’s focus on the most important goals that are coming soon.”
Aurier also appeared to cup his ears towards supporters as he was embraced by teammates after a fine half-volleyed finish.
The goal helped propel Spurs to victory and secure qualification for the Round of 16 of the Champions League.
They complete the group stages with a trip to Germany and a meeting with Group B winners Bayern Munich on December 11.
