Rangers travel to Belgium tonight as they take on Standard Liege in a match that marks the campaign-opener for both teams in the Europa League this season.

The fixture is the first competitive meeting between Rangers and Liege, who are joined in Group D by Benfica and Lech Poznan.

Steven Gerrard’s league leaders will enter the game full of confidence, having comfortably beaten rivals Celtic 2-0 in the Old Firm derby at the weekend, while Liege have not lost a game since mid-September.

Here is everything you need to know ahead of the Group D clash:

When is it?

The game will kick off at 5.55pm BST this evening.

How can I watch it?

The match will air live on BT Sport 3, and subscribers can also stream it on the BT Sport website and app.

What is the team news?

Liege’s Michel-Ange Balikwisha, Nicolas Raskin and Moussa Sissako all tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday, as did the club’s goalkeeping coach Jan Van Steenberghe. All have entered self-isolation as a result, with the players set to play no part in tonight’s game. Damjan Pavlovic and Abdoul Fessal Tapsoba will also be kept apart from the squad as a precaution, despite having tested negative for the disease.

Rangers, meanwhile, are expected to name a similar line-up to that which beat Celtic at the weekend. New signing Kemar Roofe will not appear for the Scottish club.

Predicted line-ups

Liege: Bodart, Fai, Vanheusden, Dussenne, Gavory, Shamir, Bokadi, Bastian, Carcela, Cop, Lestienne

Rangers: McGregor, Tavernier, Goldson, Helander, Barisic, Arfield, Aribo, Kamara, Barker, Morelos, Kent

Odds

Liege: 8/5

Draw: 13/5

Rangers: 29/30
