The Real Madrid star picked up his 25th dismissal for Los Blancos on Sunday against Girona in the 2-1 defeat.
Just days previously, Ramos created controversy after appearing to deliberately earn a yellow card vs Ajax to clear a looming suspension.
Now Ramos has cost his side dearly, with Santi Solari’s side now nine points back from Barcelona in the title race in La Liga.
Ramos' previous dismissal was way back on December 2, 2017, away to Athletic Bilbao.
But after handling to gift Girona the equaliser, Portu punished Los Blancos to clinch a famous win.
That means the good work done in the derby vs Atletico Madrid, briefly jumping above Diego Simeone’s side, Real must now gather themselves before a tricky run of games.
Ramos will miss the trip to Levante, before two clasicos inside three days, followed by Ajax at home in the second leg of their Champions League clash.
It remains unclear whether Ramos will also miss that game, with UEFA previously handing out an additional one-match suspension for deliberately picking up bookings.
