Your support makes all the difference.Tormented defenders around Europe will testify that Lionel Messi is difficult to stop - and that appears to apply on the road as well as the pitch.
Eager autograph hunters regularly gather outside Barcelona's training sessions in a bid to have their favourite players scrawl something on a piece of paper, sign a replica shirt or have their picture taken.
But according to reports in Spain, Messi wasn't in the mood to stop for a small group waiting for him. Video footage shows camera-phone waving supporters standing in the middle of the road shouting the name of the four-time Ballon d'Or winner as a black Cadillac roars towards them. But rather than slowing down, the Cadillac maintains its speed, forcing the screaming fans to jump out of the way.
It's impossible to identify the driver from the video footage, however Spanish newspaper AS are confident Messi was behind the wheel, reporting that "the Argentine left training in his new black Cadillac, and accelerated through the screaming fans in a hurry."
