At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Your support makes all the difference. The red suite worn by Lionel Messi at last year's Fifa Ballon d'Or award ceremony was always going to be a hard act to follow, however those with a keen eye for questionable fashion sense tuning into last night's bash weren't to be disappointed.
Messi, the winner of the Fifa Ballon d'Or, played things safe with a simple black tuxedo, as did his fellow nominee Cristiano Ronaldo. However Neymar, the third contender, jazzed things up a little by opting for a shiny blue bow-tie and accessorising with a black trilby.
Beyond the three contenders for the night's grand prize were two footballers vying for the award for worst dressed man - step forward Paul Pogba and Samuel Eto'o.
With a strict tuxedo dress code, attendees were forced to think outside the box. Somehow that led Pogba to end up coming along to the event in Zurich dressed in a jacket covered in shiny golden flowers. Whether the Juventus midfielder was intentionally colour coordinating with his dyed blonde hair wasn't clear. The bling didn't stop at the jacket though, with a pair of spectacles with gold trim and chunky silver earings completing the Frenchman's look.
Judging by the number of selfies he was taking, Pogba must have been pleased with how things came together.
Meanwhile, Eto'o went for a leather tuxedo. Yes, that's right, a leather tuxedo.
Messi collected the fifth Fifa Ballon d'Or award of his career after taking 41.3 per cent of the vote.
