From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. Tottenham Hotspur won their first away match in 183 days to significantly boost their hopes of reaching the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Spurs have struggled in recent weeks but impressed in Serbia against Red Star Belgrade, winning 4-0 just weeks after putting five past the side in north London.

Spurs were made to work hard for their first goal, with Giovani Lo Celso eventually breaking the deadlock after a mad goalmouth scramble which saw Son Heung-min hit the crossbar and Harry Kane hit the post.

Son then scored a rapid-fire double in the second-half to make sure of the win, with the South Korea international appearing to dedicate his first goal to Everton midfielder Andre Gomes, who he inadvertently injured last weekend.

There was even a goal for the desperately out-of-form Christian Eriksen, who came off the bench to add the fourth. Here are our player ratings.

Check the above gallery to see how we have rated players from both sides.
