Paris Saint-Germain players mocked Erling Haaland’s trademark celebration after knocking the 19-year-old striker’s Borussia Dortmund side out of the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

Haaland, who typically celebrates scoring a goal by sitting cross-legged in a meditation position, netted twice in the first leg of the last-16 tie to give Dortmund a 2-1 lead heading into the return fixture in Paris.

Neymar was PSG’s goalscorer in the first leg and he struck again on Wednesday evening as the Ligue 1 club defeated Dortmund 2-0 – with the second goal coming from Juan Bernat.

Dortmund midfielder Emre Can, formerly of Liverpool, was sent off late in the game for an altercation with Neymar.

The victory gave PSG a 3-2 aggregate win over Dortmund, sealing the French side’s place in the quarter-finals.

And at full-time, PSG players gathered on the pitch to celebrate by copying Haaland’s trademark pose.

The game was played behind closed doors due to coronavirus outbreak fears.

The evening’s other Champions League fixture saw defending champions Liverpool eliminated after losing 3-2 to Atletico Madrid in a dramatic match at Anfield. The result meant Liverpool lost 4-2 on aggregate.
