With Bayern preparing to face Portuguese champions Porto in the Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday night, club director Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has sung the Spaniard's praises.

"He doesn’t just have a plan A, B or C, he has the whole alphabet from top to bottom. At the moment I don’t think opposing coaches know what tactics Pep Guardiola is going to use.
"Actually, when I go to the stadium, I sometimes don’t know either. Time and time again, I’m totally captivated and positively surprised at all the things that occur to him."
